I believe everyone is an artist, from the most primal kind of creativity reflected in how we live our lives, to the most exquisite forms of fine art. I did not personally consider calling myself an artist until rather late in my life and it took even longer for me to truly know it. My own personal mission and commitment is to do what I can to add to the sum of beauty in the world.

I seek to work from an archetypal place, exploring ways to represent the things that we all know and feel. I like to probe the world of opposites, illustrating either a unified “holistic” vision, or one that describes “separateness.” I try to convey a story through my pieces, whether simply in the language of colors and textures and shapes, or more elaborately, in a more linear way, by suggesting a life, a place, a person, or a social statement. 

I am available for commissions, as well as one-on-one explorations with individuals who wish to create something with their own with personal meaning.
